The Education Infrastructure Management Company (EIMC) is a public company wholly owned by the Government of Botswana under the Ministry of Child Welfare & Basic Education.
EIMC is mandated to transform, modernise, and maintain the national education infrastructure base, ensuring that every learner and educator has access to safe, modern, and fully functional facilities.
Our Mandate
EIMC serves as a central delivery institution responsible for:
Upgrading and modernising public school facilities
Delivering digital and smart school solutions
Managing and maintaining school infrastructure across its full lifecycle
Professionalising facilities management across the education sector
Ensuring long term sustainability through integrated funding and cost recovery models
